Interiors

It was great to work with Robbie and Sophie of Homestead Cottage, Doolin on the interior of their (now) Michelin star and widely-acclaimed restaurant.

Located on the west coast of county Clare and Ireland, between the Cliffs of Moher and Doolin, Robbie reached out to us to help furnish their cottage restaurant. We met onsite and spoke about the style and atmosphere they were aiming for, from this we suggested our Authentic Ireland photography collection of Ireland's flora, fauna and way of life as most suitable with their approach. We went through samples from this collection and selected photographs based on their personal feedback and the colour scheme of the restaurant.

We settled on 5 photographs, 3 portrait orientation and 2 landscape, all A2 sized for maximum impact and white frames to contrast the heritage green walls, which by coincidence are very close to our own 'brand' green.

In room one (L-R): I left the Bale at the Gate, Thru the Dunes & Stone Wall:

In room 2: Country Road & Rua the Cow

Praise on the interiors (& the food of course!) from Joe McNamee, Irish Examiner:
"A humble honour guard of potted plants leads up to the front door of the single storey slate-roofed white cottage and into a main room, every bit the ‘traditional Irish cottage’ of yore, save a few pleasant additions the McCauleys have added to the walls.
Yet, in an age where restaurant interiors often wear the homogenised sheen of a professional makeover, Homestead has a charming authenticity that is very hard to buy. It is small, 30 seats at most, but the natural, organic space is cosy and oh so welcoming."
