May 2025 was one for the books! This month, we embraced the spirit of Meet the Maker by hitting the road to showcase our business with some of our wonderful stockists, and to participate in the Burren Slow Food Festival. From our hometown of Ennis to the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, the historic grounds of Bunratty Castle, and lovely Lisdoonvarna, every stop along the way was filled with meaningful conversations, shared stories, and plenty of laughs.
Showcasing at Our Stockists

We kicked things off with a showcase at Kilkenny Design in Ennis (pictured above), on a very sunny Saturday. The warm weather brought a lovely buzz to the town, and we had the pleasure of meeting so many friendly faces throughout the day.

Next, we spent two afternoons at the spectacular Cliffs of Moher Craft & Design Shop (pictured above left), where the dramatic Wild Atlantic views are matched only by the enthusiasm of the tourists and locals we met there. There’s something magical about talking photography while being so close to one of Ireland’s most iconic landscapes.
Finally, we wrapped up at the Bunratty Castle Craft & Design Store (pictured above right), a place steeped in history and extra special to us, as it’s where Gary had his very first job performing as an Irish dancer during the castle’s traditional Irish nights. Between admiring the heritage surrounds and sharing tips on everything from photo composition to Irish weather (a frequent topic!), we had so many great chats with visitors from near and far.
At each stockist, it was lovely to meet people face-to-face, share the stories behind our photographs, and talk about our creative process. Whether you asked about our favourite photo spots, our gear or how it is working together as husband and wife, we were thrilled to chat and connect.
A Special Day at the Burren Slow Food Festival
As if that wasn’t enough, we were also thrilled to take part in the Artisan Farmers Market at the renowned Burren Slow Food Festival. Set against the rugged beauty of the Burren, this event brought together passionate food producers, artists, and makers from all over Ireland. It was such a special experience to showcase our photography as part of a festival that celebrates sustainability, craftsmanship, and community, values we hold close to our hearts. This year was our third year being involved, and we already have the 2026 date in our diary!
Thank You - Míle Buíochas!
To everyone who stopped by to say hello, bought our prints, or shared kind words - thank you! Your support means the world to us. These moments of connection remind us why we do what we do.
Here’s to more showcases, more stories, and more shared adventures. See you at the next market!
With thanks / le buíochas,
Aoife & Gary
