Sheeps Head Lighthouse | Bantry Bay | Cork
Sheep's Head Lighthouse, at the southern tip of Bantry Bay. Accessible only by 'the Sheep's Head Way' walk / hike trail, well worth the effort for the amazing scenary throughout. The lighthouse itself was built in 1968 due to the development of the oil terminal at Whiddy Island to guide ships through the estuary.
