The rugged beauty of County Sligo - the Gleniff Horseshoe and the ruin of the Miners School. An iconic Irish route, this 10km loop on narrow roads/boreens offers spectacular views of the dramatic Dartry Mountains. The day we visited was windy, a little overcast at times and quiet, with the ruin reminding us that this was once a busy place with industry.
