The iconic Slieve League / Sliabh Liag Cliffs of Donegal. Europe's highest Sea Cliffs on the edge of Ireland and Europe, almost 2,000 feet (598 meters) above the Atlantic Ocean. Simply spectacular, we visited on a grey evening in August. The heather on the headland adding a purple-brown tone and a patchwork of grey pebbles illustrate the the ever-changing landscape.
