Rathbarry Sprigging School | County Cork | Ireland
The Sprigging School in Rathbarry, West Cork was established by Lady Carbery of Castlefreke in 1825. The name sprigging comes from the type of lace associated with Rathbarry which was shaped like a sprig or spray. The school was refurbished in the 1990s by the local community.
